We are
lucky to have so many lakes in East Tennessee, with 6 lakes
surrounding Knoxville and the Tennessee River running through Downtown
Knoxville. Many Vol fans will boat to the UT football games, with the
stadium just across the street from the docking facilities. Norris Lake,
Cherokee Lake, Douglas Lake, Fort Loudoun Lake, Tellico Lake and Watts
Bar
Lake surround Knoxville and all are within one hour of Downtown Knoxville.
All the lakes are 30,000 acres or larger and controlled by The Tennessee
Valley Authority. Wildlife and recreation areas are available and public
launching sites are maintained by TVA.
Great fishing, boating, water skiing and swimming are enjoyed by the many
people who vacation in East Tennessee. Waterfront homes, Cabins, RV sites
and camping sites are available for rental. Many people find East Tennessee
Lakes are a great spot for relocation, retirement, second homes or investing.
I will be glad to assist you in selling your property or finding a lake
lot
or waterfront home on any of the East Tennessee Lakes. I am a member of
Knoxville MLS and Smoky Mountain MLS. |
